Bellefontaine is a recording facility in Lausanne, Switzerland. The studio is specialized in recording and producing rock bands.
Rock for us means "from soft piano/voice performances to extreme brutal hardcore bands".
Bellefontaine Studio opened in late summer 2000 after some months of intensive work by the two owners. This big job has led to a really professional, efficient and sounding studio facility. The studio is equiped with 3 rooms : one recording room of 40 m2, a vocal booth/guitar room and a control room of 20 m2. The control room and the recording room are separated by two walls with a thick window in its center, in order to communicate visually between the two rooms.
To focus mainly on rock music is the choice of the two resident engineers, that have been involved during years in the Lausanne's rock scene as live engineer or as performer with many quite famous local bands.

The facility is located in the center of the city and has a huge parking lot to welcome musicians. Beeing located in the center of the city is very attractive and usefull, to find a restaurant, a music shop for example...
The studio is equipped with a 56 channels digital mixing desk with full automation and a powerful direct-to-disk multitrack machine.
Bellefontaine is ready to welcome bands and to record them even live.
Due to the quality of the studio and the affordable price, Bellefontaine quickley became a standard for the local scene and lots of bands have recorded or booked for albums, demos, mastering or preprods.

| Please note that at the moment the two "in house" engineers are really busy on other business and so they can't accept so many projects. But Bellefontaine is always happy to be rented to other sound engineers in order to work on all the projects you want... |
